The self-watch is an aspect of the discipline of circumspection (Ephesians 5:15-17), part of that spiritual regimen by which we train our hearts, minds, and consciences to engender actions and works consistent with our calling as the followers of Christ. The discipline of circumspection includes paying attention to the goings-on of the day (1 Chronicles 12:32), making wise use of our time (Psalm 90:12), attending carefully to all the details of our everyday lives (Proverbs 4:21-27; cf. Luke 21:34-36), guarding against false teaching (1 Timothy 4:16), and amending any ways that turn out to be contrary to the Word of God (Psalm 119:59,50).

Haven't watched any movie since Shrek 3 @ Lido. I think that was last month when I watched with Lilian. It was definitely quite a meaningful cartoon. I don't really liked cartoon movies but somehow after watching my first - "Hunchback of Notredam". I felt that it's not all that childish so I became more open since then for cartoons. But I am still quite skeptical about watching my favorite childhood cartoons with their roles played by actual human beings. Well Fantastic 4:The Silver Surfer was not too bad. It was rather humourous with a mix of humanity kindness. Caught this movie @ Tiong Bahru after service with Cindy, Esther, Rina & Bryan, Michael & Peter. I think it has been a long time since the CG members meet up to have movies. The last one I think was Pirates of the Carribean: Deadman's Chest last year. The next popular movie to catch is Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix! Opening on the 11h July 2007 in Singapore. I am not a fanatic but...

It was a great time of fellowship with all the friends and members @ Chong Qing Steamboat after some time of confusion. There were a whole stretch of Chong Qing along the same shop house. *Faintz*Couldn't get hold of Gynnel because there was problem with her phone. Members were hungry and friends were there, everything seemed to be so disorganised! But thank God, finally Gynnel sent a msg to say the one beside Park View. Finally, we proceeded on and every one settled down, etc. But the waitress refused to give us any chopsticks without any payment! Since the people were so hungry (it was 8+pm), they couldn't be bothered and just took the food. The chopsticks came much later after we started. Look at the satisfied looks of the people after the food. From left to right: Chelvan, Siew Ting, Bee Bee, Cindy, Joelle Cindy, Joelle, Myself Adrian, Myself, Eileen Fion, Gynnel, Esther Proceeding on to the Hong Kong cafe for dessert and drinks. Leave me out! Alison & Chelvan Siew...

So happy to find 2 more elements to play with and enhance my website. Yes, I know that the 2 elements are nothing new but it is an achievement for me. This is my first time embedding a music file that autostarts and a flash on my blog!Really proud of myself to succeed especially for the music file. I tried doing it for at least an hour! Whew! Had potluck with my colleagues today. There was plenty of food, abundance! Esther - Curry Peipei - Fruits: Watermelon, lychee(peeled), pomelo. And she's pregnant, mind you! Fion - Old Chang Kee Chicken Wings (yum yum) Samantha - Self-prepared potato salad and pancake. Love the potatoe salad but I forgot to try the pancake!!! : Joey+PeiXuan - Dim Sum Aaron - Desserts Chris+Yuqi-Drinks Calvin - Oiishi Curry Puff Myself - Bee Hoon It's so fun to have such a mini potluck but of course it requires the spontanaeity of all the colleagues. And the best information I heard from this session is that the Finance & IT will have a trip to Krabi! Yi...

Had excel training today. An early day to start off with at 830am. *yawn* So sleepy and the train was crowded, very. It was good to have Bread Talk's breakfast again. Used to have it when I worked @ Tan Quee Lan St. It's just $2, sandwich and tea. The excel lesson started off basic and with interesting commands that is rarely used. But it was fun to play around with. Lunch with Aaron @ Mac's after that, with the leisure of window shopping around Tiong Bahru Plaza. A place with memories of my youth since my 1st year of Poly was there. Then we saw Tom & Stefanie. This is the only ex-employer I will always remember because they are very nice people and what's more, the lady's boss son was interested in me. Brings back memories and I will always share this little "love" story of mine every time I see the shop. They started @ a humble shop in Marsiling. It was just a neighbourhood shop and nothing more. Then the 2nd came @ White Sand and then another @ Wood...

Went for choir practice today and had a short fellowship with one of the member. I was so shocked and surprised that she is already married. I have never seen her with any brother nor heard her went out with any guys. But it was quite a testimony as I listen to her I had mixed feelings of disappointments, fear and encouragement. How it started? Her colleagues have always teased her of being single - old maid - because of her age. One day, a sister in choir gave her an encouragement card without knowing what was going on in her life. It was card with a man walking towards a woman, hearts floating around. And at that time, she desired to have a partner and she remembered Pastor has shared that if you can visualise, you can have it. So she pasted the card on her computer and every day she will pray, "God, I believe the man of my life is walking towards now." So it happened.... An ex-customer suddenly called her regarding work one day. They lost contact for a year after talking o...

Baby Gal Janine has grown up since we last met. She's so bubbly and cheerful. I was meeting a few of ex cg members @ Vivocity on 12th June 2007, Tuesday. It was a good time catching up just that they are either married or attached. So envious of them! Well, hopefully and prayerfully it will be my turn soon. We had a good time celebrating Janine's bd. So sweet of Sherry's BF to get her a little toy car and birthday cake.

It has been an enjoyable meeting some new friends of T2K. There were about 21 of us - 9 Koreans and 12 non-Koreans. But the amazing thing is that every one stood up and introduced themselves in Korean except for me of course. Though I learn how to speak through drama series but I haven't got the confidence to speak. I can't even master my Teochew with the right accent because I cannot differentiate between Teochew and Hokkien. But still it was like a dream, hearing so many pple speaking korean. I was sitting with a few of them - 2 koreans, 1 M'sian, 1 Indonesian Chinese and 2 Singaporean including myself. Spoke about the language, culture, remuneration package, etc. It's like we have known for some time. None remembered to take pictures but I guess that's because a few of them meet up regularly to practise Korean and revise homework. Hmmm Should I be taking up the language soon? I have been thinking about it for a month liao... Because my company is also sending me ...

An interesting blog that I have visited. http://letsbefriends.blogspot.com/ It shows all the different animals being paired together. 1. Mouse and frog (yucks!) 2. Dog and cat 3. Monkey riding on a cat 4. Dog, squirrel and bird, etc..... Love transcends all differences?? haha..... or Love covers one's desire to overcome the killer instinct or rather animal instinct. 1 Corinthians 13 NLT 7 Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. 8 Love never dies. NCV 7 Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always remains strong. 8 Love never ends. NIV 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. Love NEVER dies/ends/fails. Is that right? Well maybe it is correct but it sure does hurt, doesn't it? Maybe self-love hurts and the love for others trancends all imperfections/obstacles/criticism, etc? I am always fighting against the word of God. For ...

In the midst of Emerge, I was submerging. Submerged with thoughts, negative. I wonder when will I get rid of negative thoughts. I am just sick and tired of having to battle with negative thoughts without any outcome. It's like fighting, fighting and no outcome. Well, I think there is. I lost cause I am still fighting with it for the longest of time. Emotions are in a mess. A mix of letharginess, fear, confusion, withdrawn, sealed. Name it all. Thank God, one element is lacking - suicidal. But honestly, I don't have much zest for life as I used to. It's a burden. I know I should be enjoying what I have and be contented. But I am rarely contented since adolescence. The girls have the looks and figure, the brains and the guys. I am often behind many and since this is so, why should I bother try? I have a strong pride and I don't like to lose. That's the reason why I don't see the need to compete. Why should I? Dissatisfaction only sets in deeper into my heart if I ...

The coconut of mine has too much juice overflowing for the past 2 weeks. Floating thoughts disrupted my beauty rest. I am really tired and my whole mind is so cramped. My brain is like "Wilson" in "Cast Away". Floating aimlessly, and I really hate that my thoughts are going on and on while I am lost at what they are doing to me. I just want to have a good rest and to reflect within my control. But my thoughts are just getting out of control without my knowing what they are about. Not exactly so. I will say 50-50. I need to learn to control my thoughts and utilise the potential of my brain. My brain has greater potential than it has now. I know because I used to have a control of it but now it has control of me. Now I know where did the word "airhead" comes from.
