Sabbatical Break

Back after a month. Didn't really feel like writing anything cliche or superficial stuff. But also partly because I was tracking this korean drama of 159 episodes. Yes, I finished it all skipping maybe about 10 episodes the most.

Title of the show is White Lies and it speaks alot. Everyone is hiding a truth about their past and their lives are intertwined in such a way that seems like betrayal because of the half unspoken truth. The simple loyalty, persistence and love of a man with long-suffering attitude and a heart of forgiveness; giving all his love despite of the past of the woman he loves. He refuses to let her go despite of her past.

This man is autisic and I got to know why during the last few episodes. His mum locked him up when he was young. She was in depression at that time. She tied him to herself one night while he was having asthma attack and refuses to save him. It left an impact in his life. She never allowed him to have contact with the other world. His mum wanted him to stay beside her like an ungrown adult-son. SICK!

Anyway, there was not much of a romance but it was more of betrayal, truth, forgiveness and love between spouses, parents, children. A good show that requires patience.
