This blog actually answers my questions as to what happens to all the bulletins that we leave behind. I know ushers clear them, but we have so many thousands seats!
After one Sunday service, I saw children (less than 10 years old) running around picking up the printed fliers and pamphlets the adults had discarded onto the floor.
The children were running through all the seats, collecting up all the fliers, and depositing them at the ends of the aisles for the ushers to easily collect.
The simple small acts by the children had a profound result on the work the ushers had to do.
Is it so hard for adults to take their own unwanted fliers to the end of their own aisle as they leave?
Such young children can teach we adults so much.
