Survival Week
This week was a battle for time and sleep.
After getting the brief last Saturday, we were all ready for war. After the Masterclass graduation lunch @ Sentosa resort, we went to Vivo City for street interviews. It was rather fun, almost like street evangelism.
19/8 (Sunday) - we met @ Rocky Master outside Cineleisure to discuss and give a serious thought about the consumer insights. What's really keeping the youths away from the brand?
The battle lasted 6.5hrs without dinner.
20/8 (Monday) - Finally we came out with a proposition. June & Ratnika worked on the creative brief. Cat, Peilin and myself stayed till 2 am for the BIG idea.
Nothing really fantastic.
Reached home @ 3am
21/8 (Tues) - Further improvement on the brief during lunch. Night was working on the deck.
Reached home @ 4am
22/8 (Wed) - Still working on the deck and improving the creative brief. Proposition was changed slightly. Finally, the BIG idea came out in the night by Cat and Peilin.
Reached home @ 2am
23/8 (Thu) - Mounting of visuals, completing the deck which is 30% more to completion.
Reached home @ 330am
24/8 (Fri) - The big day! Finally, sleepless nights are over. We were first to present so we were supposed to meet at 6am. Hmmm, but as usual, I was late. I reached at 7am instead.
All of us were nervous and I think my being late didn't helped. With Cat and Peilin, not all ready. Well we are the Ps (refer to MBTI). The Ps are usually disorganized but often get things done at the very last minute.
Nonetheless, presentation went well and honestly, I felt we had the BIG idea and everything went quite well.
Q & A was the highlight as we were questioned about the Idea and the cause and effects if we were to go ahead with the recommendation.
All over and we went Swenson's for lunch at PS, afterwhich, watched the Simpson. We were all so tired. June, Peilin and myself dozed off intermittently during the show. I don't exactly remember what it was all about.
Evening went off with graduation, giving out of certifications, the Best Team and Best Presenter.
Cheers to Peilin, who was given the Best Presenter, doing our Team proud!
Now that my weekends are free, I am now aimless again or rather too much time on hand. Maybe it's time to take up some short courses.
