Blogging Policy

* A weblog or blog (derived from web + log) is a website consisting primarily of periodic articles (normally, but not always, in reverse chronological order) usually maintained on a daily basis. Blogs range in scope from individual diaries to political campaigns, media programmes, and corporations. They range in scale from the writings of one occasional author (known as a blogger), to the collaboration of a large community of writers.

Received a memo that employees have to abide by the Blogging Policy set by the company.
I guess many of my colleagues might have exposed too much about the working conditions, the daily activities and clients.

Just an abstract from the email I have received:

For work-related communications, you must ensure that you:
1) Have the approval of the head of Communications Manager in your region
2) Express views consistent with those of both "Company" and your client
3) Do not represent yourself as anything other than an "Company" employee
4) Repsect the "Company"'s and client's confidentiality and proprietary information, especially when announcing a new business win

With the advance in communication tools, even company now has to allow freedom to employees though there may be an opportunity for the leak of commercial news.

Well I guess there are pros and cons when the society advance to a new level of skills, knowledge and technology.
