Spending Quality Time with God

Deuteronomy 7
v.6: "For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
v.7: The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;

v. 8: but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
v.9: Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

Deuteronomy 8

v.3: So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
v.4: Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.
v.5: You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.

v.6: Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
v.7: For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills;
v.8: a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;v.9: a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.

I was doing my bible reading and praying just now when the verses popped to me. I was asking God to reveal what is His purpose for my life. I believe that this is a period of molding, cleansing and training.

It is very important that we do not lose heart during these periods of time but to continually draw strength from God and to trust Him. These are the times that we need to draw even closer to our Savior, that His presence will be able to refresh us and renew our strength.

After my bible reading, I was alittle frustrated and it was almost like manifestation. I started praying. stronger and stronger, just asking God to remove every obstacles and deliver me from whatever was manifesting. I told Him that I want to connected to the Holy Spirit just like the disciples were.

I just find that this year is the year that either more will be drawn closer to God or some will fall away because their "love has grown cold". I find that in moments like these, we need to pray more for the saved and the unsaved.

There are many, many verses that warns us in the new testaments that many in the end times will be deceived, or some will choose to believe in deceptions. You can find all these in Colossians, 1st and 2nd Thessolonians/Timothy, Titus, etc. Of course, Revelations will inform you of all the end time warnings.

2 Corinthians

v.16: Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

v.17: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

v.18: while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Just a word of encouragement for the above negative word.

Emotional? Disappointment? Resentment? A heavy heart. This is a year of good news for many of my single friends even celebrities who were single for a long time. Update for Q1 2018

It has been a journey since beginning of this year. In fact, I thank God for the healing sessions end of 2017 before Sep. I have been going for healing sessions with cornerstone and have been greatly ministered to. Release of the pressures and stress of life since my youth when I had to near all the brunt of my father and take up the responsibilities of my mum's inability to be a housewife. The loneliness and rejection that I had to go through during the last trimester of my mum's pregnancy while staying with my god grandma. It was a great relief and deliverance and reassurance of His unconditional love for me. He will never leave me nor forsake me. Since then I felt so much lighter about myself and about life. 27th Jan: Holocaust Memorial Day

Personally having visited the Holocause Museum (Yad Vashem) in Israel, it is definitely the saddest and darkest period for the Jews. Anti-semitism is indeed a scary belief and practice which is demonic, that can only explain the degree of cruelty that no mankind can ever imagine. Who would tear apart an infant who is less than a year old? Who exterminate an entire nation of Jews? Why is that only the chosen nation suffers such violence? This is no work of the human mind and act except for the devil. May Israel be greatly blessed and be a light that shines forth so brightly. They have proved themselves to arise and soar above the darkest history.
